Noosa Sound

Is one of the most attractive canal developments in Australia, is host to the famous Noosa Triathlon each October.

Located behind Hastings St, Noosa Sound is the holiday accommodation centre of Noosa. Further along, just across the bridge is Munna Point, where water sports and river activities are always close at hand.

Location: Right behind Hastings Street along the river and canals between 2 and 10 minutes walk.

The Sound is one of the most aesthetically pleasing canal developments in Australia, set off by the beautiful homes that line the river’s edge.

A little further along is Noosaville where the Noosa River provides the focal point. Cruises depart regularly for the Everglades. Fishing boats chug along through the myriad of houseboats and brightly coloured sailing vessels. Children play in the shallow waters off pretty Pelican Beach, where you’ll see pelicans keeping a watchful eye for any fishing or picnic scraps that might come their way.
