Overview

Mt Coolum Retreat 'A Bed & Breakfast' is a purpose built Bed and Breakfast centrally located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. The property is nestled on a quarter acre block surrounded by natural flora and an abundance of native wildlife. The property enjoys stunning Sunshine Coast hinterland views and is located approximately 2.5 kilometres from the nearest beach.

The property features four guest rooms, with three rooms on the first level adjoining a large guest lounge area designed for relaxing and unwinding. Books, magazines, games and a CD player are all provided for guest's enjoyment. The living area opens onto a paved garden with a kitchenette, outdoor setting and BBQ for guests' use. All rooms have a private entrance from either the guest's lounge area or french door that opens onto the guest's deck. Rooms are well appointed with own private ensuite, air conditioning (3 rooms), ceiling fan, flatscreen LCD TV/DVD player with complimentary DVD hire, digital clock radio/alarm, hairdryer, and toiletries. Tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolates are provided in rooms and rooms are serviced daily.

A delicious full cooked breakfast is included in the tariff and is served on the second level deck with stunning views to the Hinterland. Breakfast includes your selection from a fresh tropical fruit platter (seasonal) served with yoghurt, a selection of cereals, sausages, bacon, eggs (poached, scrambled or fried), tomato, toast, preserves, juice, a selection of Twinings teas and Lavazza plunger coffee.

Mt Coolum Retreat is ideally located for those who are attending functions at either the Hyatt Regency Coolum or Novotel Twin Waters Resort. We are located approximately 2 minutes drive from the Hyatt, with the Novotel Twin Waters Resort approximately 8 minutes away by car. Mt Coolum Retreat is a purpose built Bed and Breakfast, providing complete privacy for guests. Sunshine Coast airport is a 5 minute drive.

Mt Coolum Retreat is located 1 hour 15 minutes drive north of Brisbane airport and 7 minutes north of the Sunshine Coast Airport on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Mt Coolum shops and golf course 1 minute.

Hyatt Regency Resort and nearest patrolled beach 2 minutes.

Directions From Brisbane airport and the south to Mt Coolum Retreat

From Brisbane Airport follow the signs to the Sunshine Coast (Bruce Highway).

After approximately 50 minutes, exit to the Sunshine Motorway. Approximately 1 km after crossing the Maroochydore River exit to the David Low Way. (Turn right at the round about immediately after exiting).

Follow the David Low Way for approximately 8.5km (passing the Sunshine Coast Airport on your left).

Turn left on to Suncoast Beach Drive (at the Mt Coolum shops and the B&B sign).

Follow Suncoast Beach Drive for 1.4km until you reach the Mt Coolum Retreat entrance driveway.

Directions From the North

Heading south on the Bruce Highway take the turnoff to the Sunshine Motorway.

Take the Coolum Beach exit and follow the road until the T intersection (traffic lights) with the David Low Way. Turn right onto the David Low Way and head south for approximately 5km.

Turn right onto Suncoast Beach Drive (at the Mt Coolum shops and the B&B sign). Follow Suncoast Beach Drive for 1.4km until you reach the Mt Coolum Retreat entrance driveway.
